Siamo orgogliosi di annunciare che Power Towers, insieme al nostro Data Centre Channel Partner, Daxten, ha vinto il DCS Awards 2022 nella categoria \"Innovazione dell'anno per la sicurezza dei centri dati<\/strong>\" con il PecoDC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Premi<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Questo premio riconosce il nostro specializzato<\/strong> applicazione<\/strong> Pecolift, <\/strong>che \u00e8 stato marchiato PecoDC,<\/strong> (disponibile solo per questo canale tramite Daxten) come metodo pi\u00f9 sicuro per lavorare ad altezze ridotte durante l'esecuzione di installazioni, ispezioni, manutenzione o riparazioni nei Data Center.<\/p>\n\n

Con questa soluzione di accesso \u00e8 possibile accedere alla piattaforma a livello del suolo e sollevarla all'altezza di lavoro desiderata; la piattaforma completamente protetta mantiene l'operatore al sicuro durante il lavoro in altezza. Questa piattaforma di accesso non \u00e8 solo un metodo pi\u00f9 sicuro per lavorare ad altezze ridotte, ma consente anche all'operatore di lavorare in modo pi\u00f9 confortevole e di migliorare l'efficienza. Qual \u00e8 la differenza tra il Pecolift e il PecoDC?<\/p>\n\n

Il PecoDC \u00e8 simile al Pecolift, ma ha un ingombro pi\u00f9 ridotto di 0,99 m x 0,672 m rispetto all'ingombro del Pecolift di 0,99 m x 0,70 m. Il PecoDC \u00e8 stato creato appositamente per essere utilizzato nei corridoi stretti dei rack dei Data Center.<\/p>\n

\"Piattaforma<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Ma perch\u00e9 si \u00e8 sentita l'esigenza di riprogettare il Pecolift in una versione pi\u00f9 stretta? Per capire meglio come \u00e8 stato creato il PecoDC, abbiamo parlato con Phillip McGuinness, consulente per i centri dati di Daxten.<\/p>\n\n

Qual era il\/i problema\/i che i Data Center dovevano affrontare?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\"I Data Center si sono evoluti nel tempo: da un tempo in cui tutti i servizi si trovavano sotto il pavimento rialzato, compresi l'alimentazione e i dati, a oggi in cui sia l'alimentazione che i dati si trovano sopra gli armadi IT. Ci\u00f2 ha fatto s\u00ec che quello che una volta era un lavoro a livello del suolo sia stato sostituito da un lavoro in alto, in genere a 2-4 metri dal livello del pavimento. Questo aumento dell'altezza ha portato a una serie di infortuni dovuti al lavoro su scale in altezza.<\/em>\" Ha parlato Phillip McGuinness.<\/p>\n\n

I Data Center cercavano quindi una soluzione per lavorare ad altezze ridotte e Pecolift (3,5 m di altezza massima di lavoro) ed Ecolift (4,2 m di altezza massima di lavoro) erano la soluzione ideale per lavorare alle altezze richieste. Inoltre, il Pecolift e l'Ecolift sono\u00a0 soluzioni pulite e sostenibili<\/a> poich\u00e9 non hanno batterie o sistemi idraulici da alimentare. \"Ta mancanza di sistemi idraulici in un ambiente di camera bianca \u00e8 molto auspicabile, dato che i Data Center spendono molti soldi per evitare l'ingresso di acqua\/liquidi all'interno del Data Center. Il fatto di essere completamente manuale aiuta anche perch\u00e9 nessuno deve ricordarsi di caricare il prodotto.<\/em>\" - ha detto Phillip McGuinness.<\/p>\n

\"PecoDC<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Quindi, Cosa mancava al Pecolift e all'Ecolift? \"<\/strong>Sebbene Pecolift ed Ecolift fossero ottimi in termini di altezza, ci siamo resi conto che sarebbe stato meglio avere un ingombro minore, dato che i Data Centre sono immobili molto costosi e spesso densamente popolati di rack, per cui pi\u00f9 piccolo \u00e8 l'ingombro meglio \u00e8. Anche le aggiunte, come i ganci di fissaggio per impedire la caduta degli attrezzi, sono state considerate una buona opzione da includere\".<\/em> Pertanto, il Pecolift e l'Ecolift si sono evoluti in PecoDC ed EcoDC. Il PecoDC \u00e8 pi\u00f9 stretto del Pecolift standard. Sia il PecoDC che l'EcoDC sono dotati di ganci di fissaggio fissati al vassoio di lavoro. Questo ha permesso alle aziende che cercavano un metodo di accesso pi\u00f9 sicuro di avere un'altra opzione da scegliere: \"Il PecoDC, con il suo ingombro ridotto, consente alle aziende che promuovono attivamente una politica \"Ladder-less\" di raggiungere l'obiettivo con un prodotto specifico per i Data Centre. Le scale non sono pi\u00f9 una scelta, ma l'ultima risorsa quando sono disponibili il PecoDC e l'EcoDC\".<\/em><\/p>\n\n
