Fond\u00e9e en France, l'entreprise s'est implant\u00e9e au fil des ans dans de multiples pays et continents. Avant les plates-formes Power Towers, l'entreprise utilisait des \u00e9chelles traditionnelles pour ses projets. Le client a signal\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 man\u0153uvrer entre les rang\u00e9es et \u00e0 monter\/descendre l'\u00e9chelle dans les escaliers. LeGrand \u00e9tait pr\u00e9occup\u00e9 par l'ergonomie et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de ses travailleurs. Les \u00e9chelles utilis\u00e9es par l'entreprise \u00e9taient encombrantes, instables et risqu\u00e9es \u00e0 utiliser car la porte arri\u00e8re n'\u00e9tait pas ferm\u00e9e. De plus, la hauteur fixe des \u00e9quipements d'acc\u00e8s utilis\u00e9s par LeGrand \u00e0 l'\u00e9poque compliquait l'acc\u00e8s aux infrastructures sur plusieurs niveaux. Voici quelques-uns des r\u00e9sultats les plus significatifs :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L'escabeau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ES46 permet d'acc\u00e9der aux convoyeurs a\u00e9riens tout en restant dans l'all\u00e9e centrale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L'acc\u00e8s au convoyeur ICTA avec cet \u00e9quipement est impossible en hauteur et en largeur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L'ascension doit \u00eatre facilit\u00e9e par un freinage volontaire, sinon les roues sont en mouvement pendant l'ascension et il y a un risque de chute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les portes des escabeaux ne sont pas \u00e9quip\u00e9es de ressorts de rappel et peuvent donc rester ouvertes. Ce facteur augmente le risque de chute d'une \u00e9chelle pendant le travail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la tr\u00e9mie du retardateur de flamme est impossible en raison de la position des pieds de l'onduleuse et de la coextrusion. Il s'agit d'une machine de la famille push-around manual, une plate-forme l\u00e9g\u00e8re avec un faible encombrement de 0,99 m x 0,70 m. L'\u00e9l\u00e9vation manuelle avec une rotation facile de la roue rend la machine utilisable 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7 sans recharges interm\u00e9diaires. Pecolift offre \u00e0 LeGrand la flexibilit\u00e9 dont il avait besoin pour travailler aux hauteurs requises et atteindre des endroits qu'il ne pouvait pas atteindre auparavant. Les freins autobloquants, qui s'activent pendant le d\u00e9ploiement, assurent la stabilit\u00e9 de la plate-forme. Les garde-corps \u00e0 verrouillage automatique emp\u00eachent les op\u00e9rateurs de tomber. Ces caract\u00e9ristiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es sp\u00e9cifiquement pour accro\u00eetre la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 lors des travaux en hauteur.
